A trip to a temple can seem mundane – but when local content creator Bryan Wee filmed himself visiting a Batu Pahat temple, netizens can’t help but cackle at his hilarious adventure.
The controversial cross-dresser recently posted a video of him at the Si Hai Long Wang Temple in Batu Pahat, Johor, where he was planning to pray to the Chinese God of marriage and love, Yue Lao.
Taking the audience with him, Bryan went through the steps to wish for a rich partner (preferably some can supply him with RM10,000 a month), penning down his wish on a wishing paper and tying it up to the Yue Lao statue for a good man who can take care of him.
As he flamboyantly moved around the temple, Bryan attracted a few curious looks from other visitors. However, the content creator continues his little adventure around Batu Pahat, visiting other tourist attractions, including the Lover’s Bridge. As he sat at the edge of the bridge, Bryan wondered about his future partner’s whereabouts, even saying, “If I can’t find you, I’ll jump off.”
The video continued with Bryan checking out the rest of the village and interacting with the locals, who were noticeably amused by the animated cross-dresser. Towards the end of the video, Bryan headed to a prawn-fishing centre where he caught himself a live prawn while dressed in a cropped top and mini skirt.
Netizens were definitely amused by the content creator’s travel vlog, mostly reacting to his wish to Yue Lao. One netizen said Yue Lao must be confused about whether to grant a male or female partner for the cross-dresser. Others pointed out the expression that the locals had on their faces when encountering the content creator, laughing at their reactions.
However, some did say they felt like visiting the town after watching Bryan’s video so maybe he has a knack for being a travel host. But what do you think about the vlog?
