Local content creator Bryan Wee hasn’t been involved in any controversies since he cleared the air on his gender. But, as he’s apt to do with viral news, Bryan recently resurfaced to give his own spin on the issue.
Recently, a video of a young couple having sex in a car drew a lot of traction on the internet. Otherwise known as the ‘sakit’ video, in lieu of the ‘explanation’ the guy gave when asked what they were doing, it’s been the butt of several jokes. And unsurprisingly, Bryan Wee just released his own version of it.
It isn’t the first time Bryan took to the net to mimic a controversy. Previously, he made fun of the viral lady who lost her temper on the road. This time, Bryan went the full length to reenact the scene. However, as always, Bryan added his own twist to the video.
Unlike in the original, the girl (played by Bryan) is the one explaining the situation. When asked why they were doing, she responds, “He’s sick.” When asked again, she expands on her explanation. “I’m (part of) the Red Crescent Society (PBSM), so I’m helping him. He’s not well,” she adds, showing off her shirt.
The man, like in the original, reminds them to get tinted windows for their car. However, as he’s leaving, the girl tells him not to delete the video. “I’ll delete it,” the man promises which incites the girl to chase after him, saying, “Don’t delete it la, woii!”
Some found Bryan’s rendition of the incident hilarious, commending him for his creativity. “This (reversed version) works,” one commented while laughing. Others were more impressed that he supposedly managed to pin down the exact location the event had taken place at. But, a few were concerned about how the parody would affect the couple involved.
“I don’t know if the (two) will commit suicide because of (people’s jokes)… So I hope the moderator can (take down) this video,” a comment read. Another pointed out people always made mistakes when they were young and ignorant. “The girl is only 17 and her life has (only) just begun,” they added. Some even went as far as to name-call Brian, claiming he was “stupid“, and “disgusting” .
At the time of writing, said video has garnered over 8,000 likes on Instagram, 2,900 views on YouTube and 7,200 likes on Facebook. Bryan has not commented on the responses to his video. However, he has notably enough limited comments on his Facebook post.
