Japanese pin-up model Mizusawa Aki (水沢アキ, Akiko Cihi) may be in her 60s, however, the ex-model still manages to command attention with her presence. But, her former hinted-at relationship with Hong Kong star Jackie Chan (陈港生) might have had a hand in that.
Recently, Mizusawa Aki was spotted at Japanese artist Akanishi Jin (赤西仁)’s concert, and many were stunned by her well-maintained looks despite her older age. However, the sudden surge of attention on her has also brought up past rumours of her being Jackie Chan’s old flame.
Mizusawa Aki stunned fans with her beauty during the 1980s, as her charming innocence drew many to her. But, fans think she has aged very gracefully since then. Several commented that she doesn’t look 68 at all thanks to her rosy complexion and flawless face. “Your beauty and style haven’t changed since you were young,” one said, with another cooing: “Your smile is too charming.”
Well, it seems Aki’s charm didn’t just work on netizens, reportedly, she had attracted the attention of the one and only Jackie Chan too at some point! Aki had allegedly met Jackie, when she went to his film set in Barcelona, Spain. The actress claimed she had been on an assignment to interview Jackie. The duo soon fell in love and were together for a year.
Aki shared fond memories of Jackie, praising his gentlemanly demeanour and physique. However, Jackie’s fling with the Japanese model reportedly took place while he was married and a father. This led to her being criticised for being a homewrecker.
When questioned by a reporter about the incident, Jackie himself has remained mum on the relationship, only saying: “We can discuss this privately. It is difficult to tell the whole story in just a few sentences.”
Well, it’s clear that despite her older age, Mizusawa Aki’s beauty still shines through and it’s easy to see what may have drawn Jackie Chan to her. Curiously enough, Aki debuted her last photo album in 2021 as a final hurrah for her career.
