There’s nothing quite like knowing your favorite celebrities have dropped by your country for a visit. And it seems many are hoping actress Myolie Wu (胡杏儿) will come by soon with her family.
A few days ago, Myolie Wu’s husband Philip Lee (李乘德) shared that he was in Malaysia; KL to be more specific, for work and to play. His presence here sparked questions from avid fans of his wife, asking if she was here too. Although the Hong Kong actress shared that she wasn’t here, she did imply that she’d like to visit soon!
The Miss Hong Kong 1999 2nd runner-up has been happily married to Philip Lee since 2015, and their comfortable relationship has been a recent source of delight to netizens. Just yesterday (24th September), Philip shared that he was in Kuala Lumpur, and according to his photo, he had been in Pavilion KL.
“A long long time no see. Finally here this (is) for work and to see some friends,” he shared. “First things first. Food recommendations in Central area for my beloved Malaysian cuisine, thank you.” Hilariously enough, Myolie was quick to respond to her husband’s post saying: “Take me next time please.” Fans later shared that they thought Myolie had accompanied Philip on his trip to Malaysia.
To everyone’s surprise, Philip himself retorted to his wife in the comments, saying: “Mummy refused my invitation, Let me drown myself in Nasi Lemak.” The response made netizens laugh, with many sharing they hoped to see Myolie in KL soon. “Bring your children (to the) Malaysian theme park,” a fan suggested. Myolie herself later reportedly clarified she had been busy with work.
Well, while it’s sad that Myolie Wu couldn’t make it to Malaysia this time, we do hope Philip Lee is enjoying himself here. Especially since fans flooded his comments with recommended places to sample delicious local food. Wee also hope Philip’s trip to Malaysia is less hectic than Chinese actor Li Xian (李现)’s surprise trip here!
