“Other World” Exhibit At REXPERIENCE
Cinema isn’t the only place that can transport its audience to different worlds. The all-new digital art gallery, REXPERIENCE, now open at REXKL, offers an immersive light show experience to the public – and we were there to witness the launch and preview of the “Other World” exhibit.
We were definitely transported on a journey through cosmic, natural, urban, and abstract dimensions, affording us a transcendent escape into realms of enchantment and creativity. With three main immersive exhibits and interludes for reflection, the one-hour show promises a transformative experience that honours the limitless possibilities of art. Forever 21‘s Grand Launch Extravaganza
For those who may not have been aware, Forever 21 went off the radar in Malaysia for a while – but the fashion brand is back and better than ever! Launching its first store at Pavilion Bukit Jalil, we got to see the return of everything we love about Forever 21 and more!
The grand event at the luxury mall marked the beginning of an extraordinary 3-day, 5-location grand launch and relaunch extravaganza! BMW House of Forwardism: BMW i7 Launch
BMW Malaysia just turned 20! To celebrate, we drove down to Mandarin Oriental KL’s Open Car Park, where they unveiled their first-ever all-electric BMW, the BMW i7. However, before we hopped in the back seat of the luxury car, we were first given a tour down memory lane of BMW’s history in the country.
Later, we kicked up our feet and experienced the car’s vegan leather interior, and enjoyed the 31.3” BMW Theatre Screen display. Of course, every car needs fuel, and EVs are no exception. To aid their goal of going green, BMW has partnered up with Gentari, one of the leading sources of alternative energy in the country, to supply fuel for their latest line of vehicles. To help sweeten the deal and speed up the adoption of EVs in the country, BMW is giving its first 200,000 registrants an unlimited charge for the first 12 months, so all you have to do is relax in your brand new, sleek ride.

vivo V29 5G Launch Party
We mingled with the stars at vivo’s grand launch of their vivo V29 5G. Various celebrities and influencers gathered at the Connexion Conference & Event Centre at Bangsar South for the fashion show-themed event to witness the vivo V29 5G’s Starry Purple iteration.
But the smartphone isn’t just about looks – we can attest to that, as we were given the opportunity to try out its amazing photography capabilities, like its 50MP AF Group Selfie and stunning Aura Light 2.0, allowing for picture perfect lighting in one snap.

Brazilian Film Festival
We’ve attended multiple film festivals held at Golden Screen Cinemas (GCS) nationwide this year, and recently, we were transported to the colourful and vibrant land of Brazil for the Brazilian Film Festival! Not only did we get to try out some yummy Brazilian food and check out the breathtaking photography exhibitions at GSC Mid Valley Megamall, but we also got to watch the special preview screening of the documentary “Amazonia Groove” which is all about music all across Brazil.

CollabStore “REHAT” Resortwear Showcase
Collabstore redefined fashion retail with the launch of “REHAT”, it’s first thematic fashion showcase – and we were super excited to be on hand for all the fun.
The immersive experience ushered in a new era of fashion exploration that took shoppers on a journey of style and relaxation. “REHAT” is a vacation-themed fashion showcase that brings together six exquisite resortwear brands from the vibrant fashion landscapes of Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.

Earlier this week, the brand launched its maiden venture in Malaysia in partnership with Cortina Watch at the Ginger KL in Bamboo Hills. Prime Video’s Gen V & The Continental Screening
From powerful heroes up in the sky to an assassin organisation lurking in the world’s underbelly, we had the privilege to witness both at an exclusive screening at Aqva Aria L’motichan for not just one but two new Amazon Prime Series: The Continental and Gen V.
Before he served the High Table in earnest and became a close friend of the feared Baba Yaga, Winston Scott was a charismatic businessman in London who was pulled into New York thanks to his brother, Frankie. There we witnessed his humble beginnings before he became the esteemed manager of the New York Continental in the John Wick universe.
Afterwards, we went back to school, specifically Godolkin University, the prestigious superhero-only college where students train to be the next generation of supes. However, as it is set in the dark world of The Boys, not all is what it seems in this fantastical school. As students vie for glory and good grades, something sinister lurks underneath the prestigious university that will test the protagonists’ mettle. Both of these exhilarating series can be viewed only on Amazon Prime.

Philipp Plein F/W23 Fashion Show
As the year draws to a close, fashion brands are starting to bring out their fall/winter collections. But we have to admit, luxury brand Philipp Plein’s offerings are definitely eye-catching, with its unique style!
This year’s Fall/Winter 23 collection paid homage to Philipp Plein’s trademark cyberpunk design, merged with the cowboy aesthetic. Things got more hyped with DJ Bluwie running tunes in the back and artist Killa Driz (Idris Shah) dropping the beat with his songs for models to sashay down the runway to. It was certainly a night and a collection to remember!

Play Line Friends X NewJeans Pop-Up Launch
We had a first-hand look at the new Play Line Friends X NewJeans Pop-Up Store at 1 Utama Shopping Centre! It’s one of the four stores located across Southeast Asia and will be open from now till 21st December. Upon entering the store, we were greeted by vibrant hues of pink and blue and tons of Instagram-worthy spots with caricatures of the trendy K-Pop girl group.
From pretty postcards to adorable plushies, there are hundreds of limited-edition official merchandise available for purchase. Along with your NewJeans’ bunini merch, you can also grab new BT21 merchandise. And while you’re shopping, don’t forget to check out the NewJeans photo booth and print out some pictures with the exclusive themed photo frames.

M.A.C. Studio Radiance Foundation Launch Party
We got lit with M.A.C. during the launch party of its new Studio Radiance Serum-Powered Foundation. Held at The Grounds, MAHSA Avenue, the space was decked out with tons of tools for fun activities. From a DIY cookie station to a ring toss game featuring the new foundation, it’s safe to say that guests were kept occupied for the night.
Not only did the guests – dressed in the night’s theme of black and gold – light up the night with their glamorous looks, but Estee Lauder Companies Malaysia General Manager Cheryl Joannides was also at the party to help launch the new foundation line. Of course, no makeup launch is complete without a tutorial, and we were lucky enough to get an exclusive one from M.A.C. Cosmetics’ very own Syahidah Rahman.
