It’s always exciting when international stars visit Malaysia to promote their new releases. Previously, a few Hong Kong actors were spotted in the country as they were in the middle of filming a drama here. Prior to that, Japanese idol groups shared with us some of the things they experienced in Kuala Lumpur.
Speaking of Kuala Lumpur, another international celeb is said to step foot in Malaysia to launch her latest product soon and that celeb is none other than Paris Hilton! Here’s what we know so far:
Yesterday (Sunday, 27th August), American socialite Paris Hilton posted an exciting announcement for her Malaysian fans on her Twitter. The DJ said that she’ll be making her way to our shores next month in September to celebrate the launch of her new Ruby Rush perfume from her Paris Hilton Fragrances collection!
According to the poster she posted, the event will take place on 13th September at SOGO KL at 4pm. The hotel heiress has yet to confirm if there will also be a special meet and greet session with fans during the launch. After making the announcement, many Malaysian netizens were quite surprised about the “Stars Are Blind” singer making an appearance here.
Some were excited about the 42-year-old visiting this side of the world while others were wondering why the launch will take place at SOGO KL out of all places. A few were also confused about the event’s date since the “Repo! The Genetic Opera” star originally wrote, “Can’t wait to see you Sept 11th at KL Sogo on September 13th,” before editing it to the official date which is 13th September!
While this announcement may be exciting, at the time of writing, SOGO KL has yet to make the same announcement about Paris Hilton coming to the shopping centre for the launch of her new fragrance. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
