An influencer who is known as Abang Tesla caused quite an uproar among netizens after posting a video of his wife crying on the day he married his second wife. Many accused him of cheating and manipulating his first wife, to which he responded with another video of him spending time with her.
A day after posting his controversial video, Abang Tesla posted an “apology” video that was mainly for his fellow male friends, who were nagged by their wives after finding out about his polygamous marriage. “I’ve seen comments and videos of men saying their wives forbid them from going out or listening to certain songs. It’s because of me marrying two wives, you guys had to suffer,” he said.

While the content creator did not take the issue very seriously, many celebs offered their thoughts on the situation. Actress Noorkhiriah posted on her IG stories to share her opinions on polygamy. The 46-year-old said she resents how men nowadays shamelessly post about marrying more than one wife and advised women to stay away from married men. “I’m sure there’s a reason why these things happen but someone is suffering, so don’t be too proud of your actions,” she added.
Singer Shila Amzah also posted on her Instagram to share her frustration about the viral video. The vocalist expressed that men should always reject any advances from women if they’re already happily married. “If a homewrecker comes to you, you should tell them that you have a wife at home waiting for you and that they should go for single men instead. Please, it’s not that hard, use those brains of yours,” she said.
While the female celebs were letting out their frustrations over the viral post, rapper Caprice was confronted by his wife, Farah Inalis after commenting that netizens shouldn’t be worked up by someone else’s love life. However, the rapper insisted that the influencer should’ve kept his marriage private as he’s now become one of the “victims” of being nagged by their spouse.
The hilarious (possibly scripted) video showed Farra going back and forth from the bedroom to the kitchen while scolding the “Lai Lah” artist for “backing up” Abang Tesla to which he denied doing so.
Actresses Nabila Huda and Anzalna Nasir posted their Twitter and Instagram respectively to weigh in on the polygamy controversy. The former advised men to carefully reconsider getting married if they’re not ready to stay loyal to one wife while the latter reacted to a parody video while also advising men to appreciate their wives who have shown them immense love.
