It’s official: BLACKPINK’s Jisoo (김지수) and South Korean actor Ahn Bo Hyun (안보현) are currently in a romantic relationship. While there’s no confirmation on how long they’ve been seeing each other, but rumour has it that they took things to the next level earlier in May. They were spotted around where Jisoo lives (in Seoul) in May, June, July, and again this week on 1st August.
Shortly after Dispatch broke the news, both Jisoo’s agency YG Entertainment and Ahn Bo Hyun’s agency FN Entertainment released their respective statements, confirming the rumours that the lovebirds are, indeed, an item. Fans (especially Blinks) are over the moon for the K-pop star.
YG Entertainment’s statement reads: “They are getting to know each other little by little with good feelings. We would appreciate it if you would keep a warm eye on them.” FN Entertainment also posted a similar statement, saying: “Ahn Bo Hyun and Jisoo are in the stages of getting to know each other with good feelings. We hope you look over them warmly.”
According to insiders, the pair often kept their dates at Jisoo’s apartment in the Yongsan district to avoid prying eyes. In between his busy schedule, the 35-year-old actor would apparently take out food when he visits the 28-year-old singer. “There were not many days Jisoo was in Korea. Ahn Bo Hyun coordinated his schedule to make sure it matched Jisoo’s so they could be together,” a source was quoted as saying.
Despite their 7-year gap, many agree that Jisoo and Ahn Bo Hyun share many similarities from acting, singing, and even fashion.
