Remember the accident that reminded many of the “Final Destination” franchise? To recap, a woman was driving along the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) when suddenly a long metal rod broke through her car’s windshield after it fell off a lorry.
It was said that the lorry’s tarp was not properly secured, hence why the item fell off of it. The incident left the driver traumatised and it looks like another driver experienced the same ordeal recently. Watch:
Semakin kerap perkara-perkara seperti ini berlaku….lori2 yg bawak muatan barang-barang skrap yg macam kebal…lori2 sampah yg tidak bertutup dengan elok…semua macam tak kisah dengan penguatkuasaan …

A dashcam video has been going viral all over social media, which showed a driver driving along a highway when suddenly, a large piece of metal fell off a lorry in front of them and straight into the car’s windshield, almost causing it to shatter completely. The dashcam was also shown to have fallen off its place after the car was hit by the metal.
As seen in the video above, the lorry’s tarp was not properly secured which resulted in the large item falling off from the vehicle. While the exact date and timing of the incident were not mentioned, it was said that it occurred at the ELITE Expressway. Unfortunately, there has been no information about nor update from the driver in the video. We can only assume that they were definitely traumatised from this near-death experience.
The video garnered a lot of attention from netizens who were terrified by the ordeal. Many tagged the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) as well as Transport Minister Anthony Loke for better road safety enforcement while others condemned the lorry drivers for not properly securing the cargo on the vehicle.

At the time of writing, neither PDRM nor Anthony Loke gave comments or updates regarding the incident. Regardless, we surely hope that something can be done to ensure everyone’s safety while on the road.
