When it comes to married life, how fast is too fast? Apparently newly married Douyin influencer Chen Chen (辰辰) and his wife, Faye Ng (黄靖潓) think that getting married quick is fine, as long as you know when you want to slow down.
Chen Chen of the internet celebrity duo 马来堂哥 (Malaysian Cousins Brothers) proposed to his girlfriend Faye Ng earlier this year in April. A month later, on 31st May, the couple shared good news. They are now officially married! Of course, this prompted fans to ask when a baby was coming, but Faye’s answer surprised many.
The Douyin influencer reportedly revealed his relationship with Faye in January this year, much to the delight of his fans. Chen Chen then proposed to Faye in April on her birthday which made Faye tear up. Well, fast forward to a month later and it turns out the two officiated their marriage yesterday (31st May).
Chen Chen and Faye opted to share the good news via their socials with much happiness. “I stole his heart so he’s giving me his last name. Officially Mrs Ng,” Faye captioned, tagging her beau in the post. The couple were seen dressed in white, with Faye wearing a veil and holding a bouquet while Chen Chen proudly showed off their marriage certificate.
Fans were quick to flood their comments section with congratulatory messages as they celebrated the monumental milestone alongside the duo. Several also took the opportunity to coo over how cute the couple looked together and how very much in love they were. One comment also teasingly told the two: “Time to make kids.” However, Faye quickly replied, saying: “Noooo, too soooon.”
Well, while Chen Chen and Faye have officiated their marriage, we have a feeling the duo will also want to hold a wedding. However, neither one has alluded to any plans about that. In the meantime, we too would like to congratulate the duo and wish them well as they continue the next chapter of their lives!
