Mamamoo’s Hwasa (화사) has once again sparked a frenzy online with her bold performance on stage. Recently, a footage taken from the K-pop quartet’s concert tour in Nashville, Tennessee was uploaded on a fan’s Twitter account. The video has since gone viral online.
In the viral video, Hwasa, along with her fellow members, were performing their smash hit “Yes I Am” in their cowgirl-inspired outfits. In particular, Hwasa stole the spotlight with her shocking fan-service during the performance.

As she was about to sing her verse, the “Twit” singer was seen lifting her top up, revealing a brown-coloured bra underneath the shirt, before pulling it down again – much to the delight of the crowd. Needless to say, fans on the internet went wild soon after the video made its way online.
To quote one netizen, “Oh my God, that bra is bigger than my house! What’s the problem with showing it?? There have been tops and cropped shirts smaller than that worn by other idols, and people don’t freak out about it! I love Hwasa with all my soul and I’ll defend her till the end! You do you, Hwasa!!!”
Additionally, there were also other fans who came to the defence of the 28-year-old singer from her haters. “She’s a grown woman and there are idols who have gone onstage wearing less than she was there. There’s nothing wrong with what she did,” one fan wrote in the comments.
For context, she was called out after she was spotted performing a sexually suggestive dance routine during the performance of her song “Don’t” at the Sungkyumhwan University Festival last week. Many felt that Hwasa “crossed the line” with her sexy dance move. Watch the full video here:
Prior to that, Hwasa also became the talk of the town after a video of fans tapping her booty while she was twerking on the stage went viral. More on that here.
