How cruel can one be towards animals? There’s already been a few animal abuse cases this year. Previously, a Singaporean boy sparked outrage among netizens after he was caught basically sexually assaulting a cat.

Prior to the obscene act, another person was caught on CCTV setting a poor stray dog on fire and beating it with a metal rod in front of a vet in Johor. Recently, a netizen came forward on Twitter accusing their neighbour of firing arrows at stray dogs. Here’s the full story:

Content creator and photographer @MHaffizJ recently received a question from an anonymous user via the NGL link. The user asked for an opinion on what they should do about their neighbour who is allegedly an Ustaz. According to the netizen, the neighbour apparently has a disturbing habit of firing arrows at stray dogs in the neighbourhood.

“The dogs don’t always die immediately but they will run off screaming in pain after getting hit by an arrow. How do I politely confront this kind of person?” the anonymous user asked. Appalled by the information, the photographer advised the user to contact local authorities to handle stray animals in the area and that there is no polite way of confronting an animal abuser.

If the first submission wasn’t disturbing enough, the same user also revealed that the so-called Ustaz has apparently unjustly killed mostly domestic dogs with the arrows. “The dogs would just be passing by and he’d fire arrows. Their cries are too painful to hear,” said the netizen. The Tweet sparked outrage with many condemning the ustaz’s sadistic actions of killing animals for no reason.

Netizens expressed how shocked they were by the revelation saying that Islam does not encourage animal cruelty while others commented that the man does not deserve to be called an Ustaz as he repeatedly committed a criminal offense. Some advised the anonymous user to contact the authorities and file a report against the animal abuser.

At the time of writing, there has been no update by the NGL user regarding the Ustaz. We surely hope that he’ll be brought to justice and away from all animals.
