Malaysians were rejoicing in unison when Live Nation Malaysia officially announced that Coldplay will be bringing their “Music Of The Spheres” world tour to Malaysia. This is a huge deal as this will mark the British rock band performing in our country for the first time.
Needless to say, fans aren’t the only ones desperate to get their hands on the concert tickets – even our local A-list celebrities have made it known that they want to be in Bukit Jalil on 22nd November to watch Coldplay live.
There’s no doubt that concert tickets for Coldplay are going to be snapped up like hot cakes – likely even faster. Besides Malaysian concert-goers, fans in Singapore are also eyeing Coldplay’s KL concert. On top of that, we have to worry about scalpers. In lieu of this, people have already started to offer their ticketing services.
In case you didn’t know, general sales will go live on 17th May (Wednesday). However, CIMB cardholders will have the advantage of purchasing concert tickets a day earlier, on 16th May (Tuesday) from 10am onwards. Looking at the comments online, netizens are offering to purchase the Coldplay concert tickets for a fee. Many are charging between RM50-RM60 (exclude tax).
A few things to take note:
- GoLive Asia only accepts CIMB Visa, Mastercard Credit, or Debit card payments.
- Each purchaser can only buy up to 4 tickets per transaction.
As aforementioned, Live Nation is warning concert-goers against buying tickets from resellers or 3rd party websites such as Viagogo, Carousel, or other similar platforms. If caught, the ticket(s) may be cancelled without a refund while the purchaser might get blacklisted.
It’s going chaotic come next week – and we don’t even know the ticket prices yet! Good luck everyone 😉
