Hong Kongese and Malaysian Alice Wong stole the limelight last month when she debuted her first AV film, just two months after Erena So (素海霖), Japan’s first Hong Kong AV actress. However, Alice’s successive rise to fame has left her open to comparisons with Erena.
As it turns out, most of the criticisms have been coming from Hong Kong-ers. But to Alice Wong’s immense surprise, she’s been garnering the most support from her fellow Malaysians! Their support has meant so much to her and Alice has even hinted that she may be returning to Malaysia soon.
The 22-year-old is, of course, no stranger to criticism on the internet, no matter how harsh or blunt they may be. In fact, after being lambasted for her performance in her first AV film, Alice gracefully defended herself from the flak.
But, according to the newly minted AV actress, the criticism hasn’t been all bad, especially from Malaysians. She even thanked them publicly on her socials. “Although there are many bad reviews in Hong Kong, (there have been) very good reviews from Malaysia. (I) can finally balance (the two),” she said, adding, “I like you (Malaysians) very much.”
Alice also shared that she wanted to return to Malaysia. “Do you guys miss me?” she asked. “Remember to share my AV. Thank you!” However, when one fan asked if she would do a meet and greet in Kuala Lumpur, the budding actress truthfully answered that she wasn’t sure.
Well, it seems Alice Wong’s plans for Malaysia are still in the air. But, we’re certain her fans will be looking forward to seeing her back here. In the meantime, they just have to wait for her next work to drop!
