As one of the most celebrated festivals nationwide, the Songkran in Thailand attracts thousands of visitors each year. One of the main highlights in the festival is the water fight. For this reason, even celebrities get invited to participate in this fun celebration.
More than a week ago, DJ Soda (황소희) flew to Thailand just to attend this annual celebration. A few days later, the popular Korean DJ posted on her Instagram sharing 3 different Instagram reels of herself enjoying the festival. Upon seeing her reels, fans were sincerely concerned and were worried about Soda being groped.

DJ Soda has always been known to have a killer body figure and is constantly showing off her figure on social media. In her Songkran Instagram reels, she wore a spaghetti-strap low-cut dress for the first day and a halter top with mini shorts on the second.
From one of the videos, a red shirt local man can be seen allegedly groping DJ Soda. Some netizens took notice of this and critised the man for his actions. “Man in red shirt. 👎” “The red shirt is taking advantage.” “I just saw (see) some horny guys touching her.”
On the other hand, some showed their concerns regarding the safety of the beauty. “I’m more afraid she’ll get groped. Sigh.” “Honey, please don’t wear such revealing clothing. It’s not good as there are many naughty boys out there.” “I swear I didn’t feel better (knowing) half of their movements are harassment, I don’t know how I like the situation.”

Among the many comments on the video, there was one that gained the attention of many. “Some men are disrespectful. Either way, a man shouldn’t touch a woman he’s not familiar with.”
This comment sparked a lot of debate among Soda’s fans. Some of them said that it is normal for something like this to happen at the festival, whereas other supported the comment. “It’s true. I feel bad after watching this. Looking for opportunities like this to molest. People like this ruin all the good traditions.” “I agree. Honoring is not touching the flesh.”
When looking at the reel closely, it is clear that the red shirt man did not touch DJ Soda inappropriately. He only grabbed the DJ’s arms, nothing else.
Although the false accusation is cleared, it is still important to reemphasise this — men should always be respectful towards a woman.
