Apart from food, there’s no telling what you might see at your nearest Ramadan bazaar. We’ve had some strange sightings reported like this stall’s NSFW banner that caught the attention of passerby. You might even get lucky to be in the presence of Royals like some business owners who met the King and Queen when they visited a local bazaar recently.
Sadly, there’s also the possibility of running into some rude people like this stall owner who allegedly threatened a group of customers for blocking a part of her stall. Here’s what happened:
I am here to share an incident that took place on Sunday at Saujana Impian Bazaar, Kajang (beside McD). So we were buying chicken from the stall beside this lady’s shop and since there were a few people already buying at the store and we were 8 of us waiting to buy…. pic.twitter.com/tQSodPbUXE

A man name Manivarman shared an incident that occurred at a Ramadan bazaar in Kajang along with a video for context. According to the netizen, he and his friends were buying chicken at a stall next to the one that belongs to the woman in the video. While waiting for their turn to purchase their food, they stood in front of the woman’s stall to avoid blocking the pathway for other visitors.
Unsatisfied, the stall owner rudely told the Twitter user’s friend, “If you’re not buying then go away. I’m running a business here, I’m paying rent!”. The young man defended his friend by arguing that they were not even blocking much of her stall. Plus, there were no customers waiting to buy her food at the time. Offended, the woman attempted to hit the customer with the stick she was holding (as seen in the video) before her husband intervened.
As he was being yelled at, the customer challenged her to beat him and threaten to report her to the police. The netizen claimed the woman picked up an object to throw at him before her husband stopped her once again. The thread drew a lot of attention with many netizens agreeing with the chemical engineer that the stall owner was being unnecessarily rude to them.
In the same thread, Manivarman tagged the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) to ask if what the woman did is considered a criminal offense and if it’s wrong for him to defend himself if she were to actually physically assault him then and there.
