If you’ve been a longtime fan of the local entertainment scene, then you’re probably familiar with Datin Juliana Banos. The stunning singer-actress is known for her hit songs like “Mana Satu”, “Sehidup Semati” and “Cinta Gila”. She has also acted in several movies namely “MX3”, “Gila-Gila Pengantin” and also “Sembilu 2005”.
Despite enjoying massive popularity throughout the late 90s and the early 00s, the Malay-French-Spanish beauty has been keeping a very low profile after she tied the knot with her beau Datuk Mokhtar Ahmad back on 16th December 2005. However, Juliana became the talk of the town this week after TikTok user Noraini Basre uploaded a video of her wedding.
In her post, Noraini pointed out that the celeb received a dowry worth RM77,888.77, breaking the record of the most expensive wedding dowry at that time. To quote Murai, the amount itself didn’t include items such as the two Cartier and Carat Club diamond rings (worth more than RM10,000), a handbag and two pairs of Louis Vuitton (LV) brand shoes and also a fragrance set that was gifted to her.
During a previous interview, the Pahang-born starlet revealed that the number 77,888.77 is her and her husband’s favorite number. According to her, “If all the numbers are added together, the answer is 52, while 5 plus 2 equals to 7. That’s what makes the number 77,888.77 so special to me and my husband.”
The video has since gone viral, garnering over 774k views on TikTok at the time of writing (Friday, 7th April). Watch:
