Like their viral bite, zombies have infected the minds and imaginations of people all over the globe. The simplistic idea of an unflinching horde that only grows has captivated book lovers, gamers, and moviegoers alike. That is why many people were stoked to find out that the hit 2013 PS3 game was going to receive new life in PC gaming.
However, the once phenomenal game, revered for its fluid gameplay and excellent story, is now under fire from hardcore fans and casual players due to one thing: crashes.
The game released on Steam late in March of this year, but received mixed reviews at the time of writing. This is because of the numerous visual bugs that plagued the game, which eventually caused the entire thing to crash, repeatedly, for some gamers. Many even stated that the game was unplayable and that they should fire the developers behind the PC port.
Many chose to get a refund for the game as they found the cost of giving their computer a seizure just wasn’t worth it, dubbing this entire fiasco “The Crash of Us.” However, that doesn’t mean it was all bad. Some people actually get a good game in their experience, but those people are few and far between, as they still cite some minor issues here and there.
The Last of Us Part I PC players: we've heard your concerns, and our team is actively investigating multiple issues you've reported.
We will continue to update you, but our team is prioritizing updates and will address issues in upcoming patches.

The developer of The Last of Us, Naughty Dog, has gone on Twitter and acknowledged the state of their game and the wrath of their fans. They have issued a statement saying that they will work on patching the game and will monitor the support pages to help those who wish to continue playing the game.
Fans are not necessarily angry at Naughty Dog; the developers have been very kind to their playerbase. They are very mad, however, at the one responsible for the port, Iron Galaxy, who has remained silent on all social media platforms at the time of writing. Many people are hoping that this won’t happen again, but with Iron Galaxy’s track record, they aren’t holding their breath.
