It’s no surprise that many male fans still can’t accept the fact that Elizabeth Tan is already off the market. The singer tied the knot with her partner Ding Siew Jim in March 2021, and the lovebirds have been living a fairly blissful life together ever since.
Needless to say, a lot of fans were left disappointed, frustrated, and even heartbroken after the news broke out. Speaking in an interview with mStar, Elizabeth – or Lizzy – admitted that her popularity has dropped drastically, particularly after she got married.
“I’ve seen my social media engagement. Previously, I used to get around 80,000 to 100,000 likes for only one post. Now, the maximum number of likes on my Instagram post is only 20,000. There’s an obvious decline,” the “Payung” songstress said. “Still, we have to accept the fact. I’m not going to be unmarried till forever. Maybe everything that happened is all part of God’s Plan. I believe that everything is part of His timing.”
Lizzy also revealed that she and her husband are still living separately. According to her,“We don’t even live together. He’s living with his mother, while I’m staying with my mom. We’ll probably stay together when I get pregnant. For now, he still wants to go back to his mom’s house often since he’s working for her.”
During the chat, the “Abang Long Fadil 3” star also shared her hot take on the ongoing issue surrounding third party involvement in celebrity marriages. Lizzy joked that she’ll hold a press conference if she catches her husband cheating on her.
“I’ll let the whole Malaysia know that he cheated on me, and I would expose his face with that girl. He only gave me his normal reaction, so hopefully he won’t do something like that,” the 29-year-old celeb was quoted as saying.
