In life, there will always be those who are envious of others’ talents and achievements. Most people will channel that energy into motivating themselves to improve their skills and become better at the craft. However, there are those who will play dirty and sabotage the competition.
It hurts when you discover that someone you know wants to tear you down but it hurts even more if that someone turned out to be a very close friend. Nabila Huda, unfortunately, had to learn that the hard way as she recently shared about her fallout with a friend.
Actress Nabila Huda has had better days. Taking to her official Twitter account, the 38-year-old expressed her frustration over something that happened between her and a former friend. According to the first tweet, the celeb discovered that a friend had trash-talked her behind her back. “It’s a never-ending story of envy. You talk shit behind my back and even slandered me. Thank you,” she tweeted.
Without dropping any names, the actress proceeded to share how hurt she was to be betrayed by a close friend who, despite all the time they shared together, was still envious of her. However, as disappointed and furious as she was, the “Harum Malam” star decided not to hold a grudge saying: “But bitch, nice try!! I’ll forgive whoever you are. Forgiveness is better than revenge.”

The public figure vented her frustration in a series of tweets saying how it’s always the Malays that are trying to bring each other down and that she refused to participate in or entertain the unnecessary drama. “So, go ahead with your hateful intentions and your dirty business ’cause we’re good. I’ll be forever humble and respectful. I choose passion over fortune,” the Malaysian Film Festival award winner tweeted.
As seen in the screenshots above, fans of the award-winning actress agreed with her statement about how it’s always the ones closest to us that end up betraying us. One netizen suggested that karma will soon take its course.
