Avril Lavigne had some choice words for a topless woman who interrupted her onstage during the JUNO Awards 2023 earlier today.
The rockstar was onstage to introduce rapper and hip-hop artist AP Dhillon’s performance, when the woman emerged from the audience, took her top off and walked up the steps onto the stage. Various messages were handwritten on her body, including “Save the Greenbelt.”

Lavigne continued to do her job while cameras attempted to keep the streaker out of frame. She immediately took matters into her own hands, ordering the woman to leave the stage. “Get the f**k off, bitch,” the “Sk8r Boi” singer said, still speaking into the microphone. Lavigne can also be seen ripping the streaker’s nipple pasties off!
Videos capturing the incident quickly began making its rounds on social media. Many fans applauded Lavigne for her keeping her cool. Some of the comments that we found include, “She handled that like a pro,” “Avril handled it very well TBH,” and also “She handled the situation well, but her whole security team should be fired because she could’ve gotten seriously hurt.”
