We’re only a month away from Hari Raya, so y’all better start shopping now! And what better way to shop than by browsing Lazada, which is all set for upcoming Aidilfitri festivities!
To show that it means Aidilfitri business, Lazada recently turned the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s Golden Triangle, Jalan Bukit Bintang, into a glamorous 500m fashion runway to showcase its exclusive Koleksi Raya LazLook. Featuring the latest festive collections from over 10 renowned homegrown fashion brands, the live lookbook showcased a delightful Aidilfitri collection, giving Malaysians the opportunity to discover graceful and fashionable style inspirations for Hari Raya.
Over 50 models strutted down the high street before making their final, chic stop at the CommonsKL @ BBPark, presenting stunning line-ups from Naelofar, Rico Rinaldi, Petit Moi, Poplook, Cynthia Tang, Zucca, Gene Martino, Zoe Arissa, Bayu Somerset, and TATO Shop. Turning heads at the country’s busiest crosswalk with a gorgeous array of designer baju kurung and Malaysian kebaya, the entire event was livestreamed on LazLive and simulcast across Lazada Malaysia’s social media channels. Pedestrians along Jalan Bukit Bintang were also able to catch the livestream on the various digital out-of-home LED screens along the road, including CuBIG billboards and The Cube @ Bukit Bintang.
The glamorous runway was a means of bringing a well-loved category to the hearts of local consumers – fashion, which was one of the most popular categories during the first hour of Lazada’s Epic 11th Birthday Sale across Southeast Asia, that kicked off on 3 March 2023. When it comes to browsing and searching for fashion items, the eCommerce marketplace is primarily the preferred platform in Malaysia, as more than half of consumers (53%) use it to find the right products, with prices (74%), discount offers (69%), and reviews (47%) being some of the key considerations for purchase.
