In early February, Thai model-actress Treechada Poyd Bejarat, aka Poyd Treechada (ตรีชฎา เพชรรัตน์) announced great news. Her long-time boyfriend Phakwa Hongyok (บรรลุ หงษ์หยก) aka Oak had just proposed to her. And, she said yes!
Well, after a month of waiting, Poyd revealed yesterday (1st March) that they had just gotten married. She also uploaded photos of her wedding and we have to say, it certainly looked like a grand and beautiful wedding!
Poyd and Oak’s wedding apparently followed the traditional customs of the Baba Nyonya. Poyd herself was dressed in a beautiful gold embroidered robe, a gold headdress and was bedazzled in jewellery. Oak on the other hand wore a neat, sharp tuxedo.
The couple carried out their ceremonies with solemnity, but when allowed, Poyd always had a huge smile on her face. Oak could be seen looking out for the love of his life as well on their special day. Of course, they weren’t the only ones there. Their family and friends gathered to celebrate this momentous occasion with them, with many blessing the couple as well.
It can’t have been easy for the woman who holds the title of “Thailand’s Most Beautiful Transgender”. However, we too would like to sincerely congratulate the couple! May they have a happy and blessed marriage.
