We’re only two months into 2023, but Netflix is already awash in fantastic, brand-new shows. This month, whether you’re in the mood for a thriller or a romantic comedy, you’re definitely going to find something that hits the spot.

Check out Penn Badgley and his beard – but this time, London has become his latest fixation. If stalking isn’t your bag, catch Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher in their latest romantic comedy. Whatever your taste, Netflix’s lineup of new programmes is just what you need!

You

Turns out, Joe isn’t the only killer in town. You is finally back with a new season, but this time, things are headed in a different way – a new identity, a new love interest, and a new serial killer to face-off against. Joe fled the bloodshed in California in season three to start over in London, but his dreams of a fresh start in the UK are short-lived when he appears in the sights of a killer known as “Eat The Rich,” who is determined to become best friends with him. Will Joe eventually find out who the new killer is? And if you’re done watching part 1, keep an eye out for part 2 that’ll be arriving on Netflix on the 9th of March. Catch the trailer while you wait.

We Have A Ghost

What would you do if you found a ghost in your attic? Click ‘record’ and go viral on the Internet, of course!

Starring David Harbour and Jahi Winston from Stranger Things, We Have a Ghost is a family-friendly horror comedy. Kevin moves into an old home that his parents purchased for an eerily low price, and he bumps across a ghost that resides in the attic. Naming the ghost Ernest, Kevin realizes he needs a companion. Because Ernest can’t talk and recall anything, Kevin offers assistance in finishing off some unfinished business. However, things take a different turn when Kevin’s dad, Frank, learns about Ernest and sees a chance to make money by uploading a video of Ernest to the internet, where it quickly becomes popular. Watch We Have A Ghost on Netflix this 24th February.

Possessed

During the summer holiday, Alia and Kak join a group of hostel boys for a picnic in the woods. Wari, one of the lads, discovers a little, unsettling-appearing bottle. He cracks the bottle, letting some evil energy out. One day, while the boys are cleaning the bathroom, Wari unexpectedly succumbs to a demon possession and turns into a homicidal monster. He begins to assault his pals. Every time Wari kills someone and eats their flesh, the victim changes into Wari. The lives of other guests at the hostel are seriously endangered by the possessed students. Will Ustaz Nazmi and Wari’s friends escape the vicious attacks?

Your Place or Mine

Switching places with your bestie sounds okay, right?

Debbie and Peter are close friends who have been in contact constantly, despite living on different coasts for more than ten years. They are also utterly incompatible: Peter is a marketing executive and aspiring writer whose New York life changes as swiftly as his girlfriends, in contrast to single-mom Debbie, an accountant whose Los Angeles life is well organized. But when circumstances force them to take over each other’s houses and responsibilities for a week, they come to the realization that perhaps they have been living the life they believe they ought to rather than the one they actually need.

Lockwood & Co.

Of course, we need a little bit of magic on our list. In a world plagued with ghost spirits, teenage ghost hunters search the streets of London, fighting the night’s spirits in mortal conflict. Among the numerous adult agencies, Lockwood & Co., a modest start-up run by teens Anthony Lockwood, George Karim, and Lucy Carlysle, stands out from the crowd. The renegade three, who are free from adult control and financial motivation, are on a mission to solve a complex enigma that will alter the path of history for all time.

That 90s Show

During the summer break, Leia Forman makes friends with a new generation of Point Place kids while visiting her grandparents, Red and Kitty, in Wisconsin. She became besties with rebellious next-door neighbor Gwen, and starts a romance with Jackie and Jay. However, as the summer comes to an end, tensions start to build. Leia is confronted with a significant decision just before departing, as she comes close to kissing Gwen’s brother, Nate. She is also concerned about preserving her new friendship after she returns to Chicago for the school year. Leia’s connections with Jay and Nate remain unresolved as she and Donna make their way back to Chicago. With all the tension building up and an unresolved issue for Leia, it’s official that another season is coming soon – and while you wait, binge-watch season 1.

He lacks a clear plan for success in any of these endeavours but, the Upshaws are committed to working together to succeed and move on. The Upshaw family is still hanging on to the love that comes with family despite all of life’s ups and downs, including new jobs, bigger goals, health issues, and some significant life surprises. You People

In this romantic comedy, Ezra and Amira, an interracially compatible couple, fall in love after a chance encounter and start a serious relationship. Nevertheless, because of the disparity in their cultural origins and upbringings, things become difficult when they introduce each other to their families. With all the chaos their families are causing, will Ezra and Amira maintain their love or just give up?

A Girl And An Astronaut

The Polish series “A Girl and an Astronaut” is more of a romantic drama than science fiction, following the lives of three main characters as they are upended by loss, rejection, love, and guilt. When a Russian company gives Polish pilots the chance to travel to space and take part in an unusual experiment, their lives are forever altered. The results of that experiment have an effect on the lives of the pilots as well as a female who develops feelings for the pilot when they are on a mission. The project is abandoned when the pilot and the team can no longer communicate, but the pilot miraculously returns to earth after a 30-year absence.

Boogie

Boogie is a budding basketball prodigy who aspires to play in the NBA one day. However, he must juggle the demands of his parents’ expectations, a new relationship, high school studies, and on-court rivalry in Queens, New York, in order to realise his dream. Watch Boogie now on Netflix.

Unlocked

Viewpoint from her phone: music, selfies, food, social media, and more. After a long, chaotic day that ends in a strong buzz and bedtime collapse, Na-mi panics when she wakes up. Her phone has vanished. Unlocked is a Korean thriller in which a serial killer uses his victims’ smartphones to wreak havoc on their lives before killing them off for good.

Red Rose

A friendship tale emerges via the convention of traditional horror. “Red Rose,” which is set and shot in Bolton, follows a group of friends in the summer after they finish their GCSEs as their phones gradually come under the control of an app that threatens them with dire repercussions if they do not comply with its demands. The main characters are in danger, whether it be from the dark web or something otherworldly, whether it be real or imagined.

The Strays

The ideal life or the ideal lie? After eighteen years, she has a husband, two kids, and is living the ideal life in a fancy neighbourhood. She now has a different accent, name, and hairstyle, and she works hard to make sure she and her family have a comfortable life. Nevertheless, the façade is beginning to break because she keeps noticing two people in her predominantly white suburban area who she is certain don’t belong there. She is at her wits’ end because of the threatening sightings. Who are they, though? And why does it bother her so much when they do that? The Strays will be out on Netflix this Wednesday.
