Dating is usually a private affair between two people. But in this day and age, judging relationships are apparently fair game. Especially when it comes to our favourite artists and celebrities!
Chinese actor Chen Feiyu (陈飞宇) aka Arthur Chen stole many hearts when he starred in 2018 TV series “Ever Night (将夜)”. Since then, he’s been making quite the name for himself. But, it was recently revealed that Arthur might just be seeing someone. Needless to say, it has left many in shock.
According to Weibo blogger 超能摄影阳阳, Arthur’s secret lover is Chinese internet celebrity 是亦琳吖 aka 是亦琳吖 (transliteration: Yi Lin Ya). The 23-year-old actor has apparently been seeing her since 2021. The blogger went on to claim that Arthur was spotted often getting a room with her in a high-end hotel in Changsha.
Of course, she included photos to back her claim. As it turned it, it seems the photos were taken by Lin Ya herself. Most of the photos showed a sleeping man with a lady occasionally appearing in the corner, grinning at the camera.
The blogger added that she had taken pains to examine and compare the man’s ear and mole on the corner of the mouth with Arthur’s features. She also pointed out that the place they were in was similar to a hotel room in Changsha, which she found on the internet. Additionally, she hinted that more would be exposed later.
Currently, netizens are speculating that Lin Ya might have met Arthur when she was filming romance drama “Secret Fruit (秘果)”. A few also believe photos were leaked as a revenge ploy by Lin Ya’s husband. Notably enough, Arthur has yet to comment on the situation.
Well, this might spell trouble for Arthur’s reputation. Netizens are also wondering how Arthur’s parents, director Chen Kaige (陈凯歌) and actress Chen Hong (陈红) have been dealing with the news. But, for now, we’ll simply have to wait and see.
