With “Treasures of Teochew Heritage” as the festive theme, visitors can immerse in China’s rich Teochew culture and traditions through beautiful story-fabled decorations that can be found in Chaozhou, Guangdong.

Guangji Bridge (广济桥) with Pontoon Boats at LG Oval – Witness this ancient bridge, spanning over Han River in Chaozhou, Guangdong recreated in 1 Utama. This magnificent harbour with paralleled wooden pontoon boats and imperial red flags is one of China’s greatest creations in the history of bridge construction. Enchanting Palace Lanterns and Cherry Blossoms surround a Chinese Pavilion to symbolize good fortune.
Chaoshan Courtyard Mansion at GF Centre Court – Discover Teochew architecture in this iconic mansion with roofs incorporating Feng Shui elements and hand-painted floral motifs.
Teochew Opera & Traditional Costume Display – Be mesmerized by this showcase of Opera musical instruments and immersive scenes depicting Guo Da Li Betrothal Ceremonies.
Chaosan Marketplace – On 14th and 15th Jan, shop for arts and crafts and Teochew food delicacies in a marketplace event in collaboration with the Selangor and Kuala Lumpur Teo Chew Association.
