Female celebs can’t seem to catch a break from criticism, especially when it comes to their fashion choices. For the longest time, there have been a lot of artistes getting called out for their “indecent” and “revealing” outfits.
Previously, local actresses namely Eyka Farhana, Azira Shafinaz, Intan Najuwa, and even Amelia Henderson sparked controversy because of their sexy outfits. Just recently, another artiste, Riena Diana, came under fire over a series of postings on her social media.

Riena (full name Nur Qamarina Diana Zulreal) uploaded a few photos of her celebrating the New Year with her friends. In the photos, we can see her donning a black crop top. She complimented the sequined outfit with a basic skirt. That being said, it sure looks like not everyone’s a fan of Riena’s revealing look that evening.
The comments section was flooded with tons of reactions left by social media users, with most of them expressing their displeasure towards the outfits worn by Riena in the post. “Just because you’re frustrated after breaking up with your BF, doesn’t mean you need to dress provocatively like this. Stupid,” one netizen argued.
In addition, there were also a few who urged others to unfollow the “Kampung People” actress’ Instagram. To quote one fan, “I think we can start unfollowing her (on IG). She’s bringing negative culture to the new generation.” Another simply added, “I’m losing my interest (in her).”

After facing massive backlash, Riena appeared in an interview with mStar to issue her response on the matter. According to her, she has kept a sexy image for a long time. At the same time, the celeb also told the haters to unfollow her on social media if that’s their intention.
“I’m not mad at people who criticised me, I accept it with an open heart. This shows that they still care for me. To those who are not comfortable with the way I dress, and also with what I share on social media, feel free to unfollow me,” the former Hot fm announced told the local portal.
