Female artists are no strangers to backlash, especially when it comes to the way they dress. We’ve seen several artists getting their fair share of criticism from the public due to their “inappropriate” choice of outfits. Among the celebs include Nora Danish, Azira Shafinaz and even Eyka Farhana.
Just recently, actress Amelia Henderson came under fire after she posted photos of her donning a piece of black innerwear which showed off her rock hard abs on her Instagram. The pictures were taken from her recent pictorial with Coach for their most recent Holiday season collection.
Sporting fiery red hair, the former child star was clad in a black brassiere underneath a cozy winter coat. She also complimented her rockstar chic look with a checkered skirt and a heart-shaped bag from the luxury brand. “Falling heart for you. Holiday mood and it’s time to feel the wonder,” Amelia captioned her post. The photos were also reposted on Oh My Media’s official FB page.
The comments section was flooded with tons of reactions left by social media users (particularly on Facebook), who were mostly against the outfits worn by Amelia in the post. Additionally, there were also a few netizens who questioned the “Cik Ayu Mee Sanggul” actress’ current religious status. According to a fan, “She’s a convert. She switched her religion to Islam because she was married to a royalty. But after she got divorced, I’m not sure whether she’s still a Muslim or (if) she had returned to her old religion. Only God knows.”

For those in the dark, Amelia was previously married to Tunku Dato’ Harrunnarasheed Putra Tunku Annuar in 2015. Their marriage didn’t last long, as they officially got divorced in 2018.
