When celebrities visit Malaysia, it’s usually for a variety of reasons. Some come here for work. Others are here on a holiday and to play. Hong Kong actress Coffee Lam (Valerie, 林芊妤) however recently visited Malaysia for a family matter!
On 4th December, Coffee shared that she had recently returned to Malaysia with her husband Chak Chee Weng (翟志榮) and son T.Y. Chak (翟德彥) to attend her cousin-in-law’s wedding. The actress and her husband, unfortunately, couldn’t stay long. But, she certainly looked like she had a lot of fun!

Coffee uploaded family photos from the wedding on her socials drawing coos from fans and friends. “Actually, I came to KL to mainly attend my husband’s cousin’s wedding,” she shared. “I will soon return to Hong Kong with my son.”
The actress added that her husband has been swamped with work meetings. So, she will be responsible for looking after T.Y. “It doesn’t matter, (I’m) continuing the tired world of two with my son,” she joked. It certainly seems like a task! In fact, fans pointed out that T.Y. had actually been stepping on Coffee’s foot in one photo. “Are your toes ok?” one netizen asked.

Coffee also snatched the opportunity to grab a photo with Chee Weng’s cousin. From the photo itself, it was clear why. Chee Weng’s cousin towered a whole two heads over her! “He’s my favourite (photo) attraction,” she joked. “Every time I visit, I have to take a photo with him.”
Her followers were equally amazed at Chee Weng’s cousin’s height. “Wow, so tall!!!” one exclaimed with another pointing out he had the “figure of a national basketball player“. A comment read: “(You were) wearing high heels (but) did not reach his shoulders. How tall is he?” Coffee didn’t respond to the question, but did add that her husband too couldn’t measure up to his cousin.

But, what truly delighted Coffee was how well-received her visit to Malaysia was. The actress shared that many fans had spotted her in Malaysia despite her itinerary not being publicised. “Thank you Malaysia for being so enthusiastic,” she added. “See you next time!”
Well, we certainly look forward to seeing Coffee Lam in Malaysia again soon! Hopefully next time, some of us will be luckier in running into her.
