As a celebrity, you’d often hear rumours and speculations about yourself. Some rumours are just too ridiculous to be true while others may be plausible if given enough evidence. One of the rumours you might hear about certain celebrities is about their sexuality.
Some would rather stay quiet and ignore all the speculations about which gender they’d want to be in a relationship with. Others are quick to shut down rumours about their sexuality and call out individual(s) who started them. And it seems Raja Atiq’s anger got the best of him after someone accused him of being gay.
Malaysian actor Raja Atiq previously mentioned that he does not mind getting naughty comments from men on his Instagram as he still appreciates their support. However, one individual, who tagged him in an IG story, may have crossed the line when he accused the 22-year-old of being gay after posting a questionable video of himself on TikTok.
The actor called the user out by sharing the post that he was tagged in on his own IG story. “Do you want attention? You got it. ‘If the shoe fits’, then it must be true. Alhamdulillah, I’m straight. Or are you, yourself a supporter of the LGBT community in Russia and Malaysia?” said the “Rasuk” star in an IG post. He even exposed the individual by sharing the person’s IG account and demanded they settle this through a live video call.
In a possible fit of anger, the celeb insinuated that the user must be gay himself and stated that although he appreciates the support from his male fans, he is still very much against the LGBT community, even going as far as saying, “THIS STUPID [RAINBOW] FLAG can go to hell!”. The Kelantan-born entertainer then posted a 4-minute TikTok video explaining the whole situation.

After the story went viral, Raja Atiq posted a screenshot of a conversation he had with @afieqafif, the IG user who slandered him. The DM screenshot showed Afieq apologising to the actor for his actions. Not wanting to drag this out any further, he asked for Atiq’s forgiveness and promised to keep his opinions to himself next time. The young star decided to forgive him and warned others to not repeat his mistake.
