For most people, dining in at one of the world’s most expensive restaurants is obviously a luxury that only a few can afford. It’s not every day we get to treat ourselves and eat like royalty and one can only dream of enjoying fine dining without looking at the bill.
One of the most expensive restaurants out there is obviously owned by none other than Salt Bae. His Nusr-Et restaurant’s famous steak alone could cost you about RM10K! That’s literally half the amount of some people’s student loans. But have you ever wondered how much would it cost to have a full meal there? The man himself apparently shared the bill and people are not too happy about it.

Celebrity chef Nusret Gökçe, famously known as Salt Bae, recently shared the bill for a full-course meal from one of his restaurants in Abu Dhabi. The TikTok star, who became famous for suavely cutting meat and sprinkling salt onto them, posted the bill on his Instagram with the caption that reads, “Quality (is) never expensive”. The bill for a full-course meal would cost you about RM766k!
Netizens were perplexed after seeing the restaurant bill. Many carefully looked through the receipt to see how much each food and drink costs. We personally are flabbergasted to see that still water can cost you about RM498! Netizens’ opinions are torn in the comments section of the post. While there are many who criticised the chef for charging that much for food, others are defending him by saying he’s simply doing business.

It is currently unknown who the bill belonged to. However, many are speculating that the owner of the bill must a high-profile person who may have attended the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2022 event before heading to Qatar for the FIFA World Cup 2022. What do you guys think of the bill – it is reasonably priced or hilariously expensive?
