Living the luxurious and glamorous life must be nice. Eating the finest meal at the finest restaurants by the finest chefs. That’s a lot of ‘finest’. But for most people, that can only be a dream as one fancy meal could cost more than their college loans. We’re not kidding.
If you can afford that lifestyle then go ahead and spend your money however you want but be careful not to overspend. Celebrities can obviously afford this lifestyle. Aeril Zafrel just reminded us how poor we are after he posted that he went to get a meal that cost more than RM10k!

Actor and entrepreneur Aeril Zafrel is currently on holiday with his wife and their friends, travelling around Europe. The 33-year-old posted a video on his Instagram yesterday (Wednesday, 15th June) where they visited Nusr-Et restaurant in London which is owned by Nusret Gökçe, famously known as Salt Bae.
The celebrity chef welcomed his Malaysian guests and entertained them by preparing their steak meal right there on their table where he did what he became famous for; suavely cutting the meat and sprinkling salt onto it. The “My Ofis” star filmed his and everyone’s reaction to Salt Bae’s presentation and we also got an angle of him taking a bite of the steak directly from the food entertainer himself.
After the group finished their meal, Aeril, his wife and their friends looked shocked when they received the bill. Apparently, everything totaled up to more than RM10k! Funnily enough, the caption on the post reads, “Always check the price before ordering 😅😅.” That’s also kind of suspicious cause shouldn’t you go through the menu before ordering? Netizens were definitely shocked to see the bill:
Most comments appear to be positive as there seems to be little to no comments showing resentment towards the actor. But this got us wondering, did he really pay for this meal or was he invited as a special guest where his group didn’t have to pay a cent? Guess we’ll never know.
