As many of you K-pop enthusiasts may know, BLACKPINK (블랙핑크) will be bringing their “BORN PINK” concert tour to Malaysia in the next few months. Concert organiser Live Nation Malaysia dropped the details of the much-awaited show on their IG over the weekend, which sparked quite an uproar among netizens and fans alike.
Despite the commotion surrounding the prices of the tickets, it was revealed that the tickets for the BORN PINK VIP Soundcheck pass, which just went on sale exclusively for Weverse fanclub members yesterday (Tuesday, 15th November), were sold out in just a matter of hours! The matter was brought to light by Twitter user known as @HOMEGODDES.

As seen in the photo shared by the netizen, tickets for the VIP seats, which are priced at a whopping RM1,888, were all quickly snapped up by Malaysians. However, while some fans were sadly unable to obtain the tickets, scalpers have already begun reselling them on other platforms. Most of them have already taken to sites such as Viagogo and Carousell to resell their purchased tickets at a higher price.
On Viagogo, the VIP zone tickets are being sold between RM4,025 and RM6,868 per ticket. Meanwhile, there were some scalpers who even tried to resell the tickets for a whopping RM3,500. But for some reason, they didn’t specifically mention which zone these tickets are for, apart from stating, they were “Reserved Seating”. The tickets have since been sold out at the time of writing. Meanwhile on Carousell, one user is currently listing a CAT 1 ticket for RM2,499 even though it was only sold for RM1,588.
