Fans were over the moon when word got out that Korean actress Song Ji Hyo was coming to Malaysia. Many were excited even before it was officially announced. Some fans were lucky to catch a glimpse of the “Running Man” star when she arrived at KLIA last night.
The actress even helped a fan who fell down among the excited crowd. Just when you thought you couldn’t love her more, Ji Hyo also comforted a crying fan at a meet-and-greet session earlier today (Friday, 11th November).
Song Ji Hyo (송지효) made a very special appearance for the official launch of the new K-beauty brand Glutanex at Tropicana Gardens Mall earlier today. If you didn’t know, she is the official and first global brand ambassador for Glutanex. Fans gathered at the mall even before it opened to catch a glimpse of their idol at the launch.
The launch also had various fun activities for fans and visitors including games like 5 Stones, Hand Wind Machine, Korean game – Ddakji, and Spin the Wheel along with an informative aesthetic physician talk. During the meet-and-greet session at the event, one fan couldn’t control her emotions and burst into tears when it was her turn to meet the Korean actress.
Upon seeing the young girl crying, the 41-year-old reached out to the fan and comforted her while wiping her tears. She even went to hug the emotional fan in an attempt to calm her down. The video of the heart-warming moment was posted on Twitter by @afiqnuradli where it quickly went viral with now over 13k views at the time of writing.

Fans of Ji Hyo all quote tweeted the video saying how lucky the fan was to be comforted by her idol. Others praised the Korean beauty for her kindness and wished they could’ve had the opportunity to meet her in person. Words truly can’t describe how that fan must’ve felt during the session and bless Ji Hyo for always looking after her fans.
