There’re a lot of things that customers look for when it comes to deciding if a shop or stall is good. Most people will judge based on the quality of food, cleanliness of the place, how good the service is etc. However, there’s no denying that having an eye-catching figure helps too!

A certain tofu stall from a market in the Kanchanaburi Province, Thailand has recently gone viral. And, it’s mostly thanks to its 29-year-old stall owner! The proprietress, Chomphunuch Na Songkhla, is best known for the provocative way she dresses to run the stall. However, Songkhla claims that while her outfit may attract customers, most actually stay for the food!

From the onset, Songkhla’s “Witch Soy Milk Shop (ร้านน้ำเต้าหู้แม่มด)” is set to catch the attention of anyone who passes by. With a bright purple banner hanging above her store and an inviting array of snacks laid out, it can be hard to give her store a miss. However, what truly and usually catches passers-by’s attention is her dressing.

Songkhla often dresses to impress and doesn’t mind showing off a generous amount of her chest. According to the 29-year-old however, she doesn’t do it for the customers, she does it for herself. “I’m a person who likes to dress up,” she admitted to Thai media Sanook. “When I’m dressed sexily to sell (my wares), there will be young men who come to buy their own (snacks) regularly.”

But, Songkhla maintains that her customers have not been rude to her. She shared that her male customers will usually compliment her and leave her be. Additionally, her store is often visited by women and children, which she attributes to her carefully curated menu. Songkhla stressed that she ensures her snacks are healthy and cares for the store cleanliness. The proprietess proudly claims that this is how she has won her customers’ hearts.

The 29-year-old initially got the idea to start the stall from her aunt. After years of sewing, her mother’s eyesight was failing and Songkhla wanted to help support her mom. She then turned to her aunt who taught her how to make snacks. After discovering that it sold well at the market, Songkhla knew she had found a job for herself.

Songkhla’s success definitely goes beyond her attire. It’s easy to see how much she cares for her customers and her business while ensuring she doesn’t lose any of her flair and charm. Well, if you’re ever in the area, do drop by to meet her (and enjoy her snacks) for yourself!
