Raising children is no simple task for any parent. Children are full of energy and curiosity that they want to explore, discover and try everything the world has to offer. The way their minds work is simply extraordinary; the way they’re able to absorb information like a sponge and apply their new skills and knowledge in their daily lives.
While we encourage parents to let their children run free and have fun, it’s also important to keep an eye on them and stop them from hurting themselves and potentially others, especially if they’re out in public. Children don’t know any better so it’s obviously the parents’ job to make sure they behave well enough in public, otherwise they might get themselves into a lot of trouble.

TikTok user @ahnunit posted several videos of her expressing her disappointment of how some parents manage their children. The first two videos managed to attract a lot of people’s attention with now over 501.9k views on the first video and over 905.9k views on the second. The first video focused more on her asking parents to look after their children and not let them treat any of the shops nearby as a playground.
“Parents, you can line up to eat at Suki-Ya [Sushi] all you want but make sure to check your surroundings. Don’t wait until your kids get hurt before you actually do something,” she said in the video. The post received comments from netizens with most agreeing with her statement but one netizen criticised her parenting advice by asking if she’s already married with kids.
The shop promoter responded to that comment in the second video by arguing that it has nothing to do with being single or married but having common sense. “Don’t let your kids wander around as they please, I’m not your babysitter. I’m not responsible for your kids. I’m only a shop promoter trying to find customers”. Netizens again showed their support in the comments section.

@ahnunit posted a third video not long after to further clarify that she didn’t make those videos to scold parents for their children’s behaviour but to remind them to be more aware of their surroundings cause their children might get into trouble. The TikTok user said she was concern as she doesn’t want anyone getting injured but at the same time she has to focus on her work.
