Content creator Qiu Wen (秋雯) has never been shy about sharing her life with her followers. If one follows her on social media, they will often see bits of advice from her, hear a story from her past or view her reasoning as an influencer.
Earlier this year, the 26-year-old excitedly announced that she had gotten her dream car and a personal driver! At the time, she felt that a personal driver would be very helpful for her daily activities. However, half a year later, Qiu Wen admits that reality was far from what she imagined.
When she first spoke about hiring a personal chauffeur, Qiu Wen hoped they would be an asset to her daily life. However, she also thought it would give her more time to relax. “In (my) fantasy life with a chauffeur, (I’d) go shopping when I have time, maintain (myself) daily, exercise, ask friends out for high tea, dress up (nicely) every day and go different places,” she said.
Unfortunately, Qiu Wen claimed her life has been the opposite of her fantasy. “Real life is rushing to a lot of places for work,” she stated. The influencer explains that her car is usually filled with full of things that she’ll need for the day. “The car is full of shoes, clothes, props. (We also need to) load and carry things,” she said. Additionally, Qiu Wen claimed that she now works on the go. “(I’ll either) put on makeup in the car, change (my) clothes, sleep (when) I get in, or handle work,” she admitted.
Still, she greatly appreciates having a chauffeur as it has eased her time somewhat. “Shooting has become very convenient and there is more time,” Qiu Wen mentioned. “If you don’t have enough time, you can also do a lot of things in the car.”
Still, it apparently hasn’t helped in lightening her workload. Qiu Wen added that she’s been so busy each month, she has no time for entertainment and her social life. “Every month, I think that the next month should be easier,” she sighs. However, Qiu Wen was quick to state that she wasn’t complaining, merely recording her life. “I feel worthless when I’m free,” she joked.
A follower apparently pointed out that it often looks like Qiu Wen is living the dream life. “But the reality is that after dressing up and taking photos, you have to rush around and walk with heavy props,” she said. Qiu Wen added that her work often consists of her trying to keep comfortable even as she adheres to her shoot’s time and deal with pressing issues.
However, the content creator reassures that she enjoys what she does. She’s certainly worked hard to get where she is now. So, hopefully, one day she’ll be able to take a break and reap the benefits of her efforts!
