On Saturday (6th August), Malaysia’s pop queen Dato’ Sri Siti Nurhaliza performed at her concert, “Queen of the Night” for low-income families. She also shared images of the show on her Instagram yesterday (7th August).
The images were followed by a clip of the 43-year-old backstage, preparing for her performance. However, it showed how she ran into a waiter while making her way to the concert hall. Even more alarming was that the waiter accidentally hit her with the tray full of dirty plates and cutleries, almost knocking it over.
While the “Percayalah” singer did flinch due to the clash, she did not scowl at the waiter but instead, “The moment before I entered the hall. He looked surprised. I think it was because he saw me 🤣🤣🤣 but alhamdulillah (all praise to Allah), nothing happened,” she wrote in the post caption.
Siti, also called Tok Ti, added in the caption, “The plates didn’t shatter, and I performed as usual. Thankfully, I didn’t ‘latah’ (hyper-startle), or otherwise my ‘silat pulut’ (Silat) will come out!“, turning the incident into a light-hearted experience for her. The clip of the incident also received reactions from netizens and fellow celebrities.
In the post’s comment section, singer Nabila Razali wrote, “He (the waiter) was shocked to see an ‘angel’ there.” Actor Ryzal Jaafar also commented that luckily the incident did not turn into a disaster. Netizens commented on her post, “Luckily the fork didn’t penetrate her eye,” and “He was so stunned and startled to see Tok Ti in the flesh. I would’ve reacted the same way too if I were him.“

Despite being busy herself – managing her cosmetics business SimplySiti and making time for her children – the “Malaysia Book of Records” holder always keeps tabs on her life through social media.
