This is huge, guys! Cosmetics entrepreneur Dato’ Seri Aliff Syukri has revealed that he will be dropping new music sometime soon. This will mark his comeback following his controversial single “Kelepok Raya” which was released back in April.
Last night (Tuesday, 26th July), Aliff shared an image of himself in a recording studio. But it isn’t just the photo that caught the attention of netizens. It’s the caption! He revealed that he will be releasing a duet with the “Number 1 female singer” in Malaysia!
“My new song will be dropped in about a month’s time. Is there anyone here who is excited to hear the new song from the Number 1 singer in Malaysia? What genre do you want me to perform? As for my duet partner, she must be Malaysia’s number 1 female singer. Am I right?” the D’Herbs owner shared in his caption.
If you recall, Aliff made his appearance on the show “Hard To Heart” last month, where he proclaimed himself as the number 1 male singer in the country. During the chat with the local TV host, he even compared himself to the singing legend, Dato’ Seri Siti Nurhaliza, before adding that he’s earned the title as one of the top vocalists in Malaysia.
That being said, many netizens didn’t react too kindly to Aliff’s posting. While some criticised the 35-year-old for not learning from his previous controversies, others also poked fun at the glaring spelling error in his caption (he misspelled the word genre as “gender”). So far, Aliff has yet to provide deets on who his future duet partner is. Any guesses, guys?
