If it’s one thing people can agree about Dato Aliff Syukri is that the dude has a lot of confidence. That man believes he can do anything. While there’s nothing wrong with having confidence in yourself, the entrepreneur’s confidence may not always be well received.
The Pahang-born celeb is pretty confident about his singing ability ever since he made his music debut back in 2017 with Nur Sajat on the song, “Abang Nak Tegur”. Recently, he promised his fans that he’ll release a new song if everyone agrees that he’s a talented singer.
The controversial businessman recently posted on his Instagram a video of himself being interviewed by TV host Aznil Nawawi on “Hard To Heart” on Astro Ria. In the video, we can see the 35-year-old praising and calling himself as the no.1 male singer in Malaysia.
“I am Malaysia’s no.1 singer! This year I was no. 1! If Siti Nurhaliza is the no.1 female singer, then I am the no.1 male singer,” he said in the interview. He then added that he’s earned the title and apparently, people are just jealous of his achievement. The TV host can be seen laughing as the “Badang” star made his bold statement.
The “Cuba Bahagia” singer captioned his video asking his followers if they agree that he’s a talented singer. “If everyone agrees I’m talented, I will release a new song. Can I be Malaysia’s no.1 male singer?”. Netizens replied in the comment section with some agreeing that he’s the best singer while others wonder where does he get his confidence from.
If Aliff Syukri does plan to release new music, let’s hope he learned his lesson from his last single “Kelopok Raya” where the singer was reprimanded and investigated by the Religious Affairs Minister and the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) for the controversial music video.
