Regardless on whether you’re having a sucky day or simply in the mood to celebrate, one thing comes to mind – ICE CREAM! Ask anyone and they’ll probably tell you that anytime is the best time for some comforting desserts.

In celebration of Ice Cream Day this July, those with sweet-tooth are welcome to whack the top most drool-worthy icy desserts. At Pavilion Bukit Jalil, you can find everything from ice cream and waffles, to bingsu and fro-yo.

Milkshakes

Although Baskin-Robbins is best known for its range of 31 ice cream flavours to choose from (such as Strawberry Cheesecake and Jamoca Almond Fudge), customers also frequent the American ice cream brand for its ice cream milkshakes include the Classic Chocolate, Very Berry Strawberry, and Mint Chocolate Chip. Since Merdeka is approaching, Baskin-Robbins will be introducing an all-new Cendol Blast Ice Cream Milkshake.

  • Where to get it: Baskin-Robbins, Level 3, Orange Zone, Pavilion Bukit Jalil

Shaved ice

For those craving for natural and authentic Taiwanese desserts, Yam Fresh’s shaved ice range is a hot favourite, especially during a hot day outside. With a total of 7 yummy base flavours to choose from, you can opt for Herb Jelly, Soy Bean, Matcha, Coconut, Milk Tea, Chocolate, and Mango. Psst, don’t miss out their Cendol Coconut Ice or (for the boba lovers) Pearl Milk Tea. Of course, you can also try Bean Jr’s Korean shaved ice dessert like Ice Ice Baby, Mango Tango and Hey Mickey, or go nuts with Nuts About You or Man-Go-Crazy!

Roll-ney It Up

It’s crisp, light and fluffy – we can’t get enough ice cream Kürtőskalács at Rollney. The cylinder shaped Kürtőskalács are best paired with either chocolate or vanilla ice cream. We also have a soft spot for the delicious Summer Berry Cone that brings happiness and battles the summer heat. Strawberry fields forever!

Taste the King of Fruits

Get the Inside Scoop on Musang King’s reign and many handcrafted Malaysian-made artisanal ice creams. With a fluffy, torched meringue layer on the outside, and a crispy chocolate base on the inside, the homegrown brand’s King cake is memang Betul-Betul Durian, and betul-betul kaw! Durian lovers can enjoy some rich and creamy durian ice cream in addition to creamy ice cream made from real D24 or seasonal Musang King pulp.

Mix & Match

There’s no fixed way to enjoy ice cream. You can also get creative and jazz it up by combining it with root beer, or enjoy it atop a waffle! As the first fast food restaurant to open in Malaysia (back in 1963), A&W has been serving the signature RB float (root beer float) topped with creamy vanilla ice cream. We also love it when having the warm crispy waffle with ice cream alongside strawberry or chocolate sauce. Have you tried the all new Choco Dino waffle or sundae? It’s equally good!

Refreshing llao llao & Oats Ice Cream

Spring Into Style: Refresh Your Look This Spring & Summer At Pavilion Bukit Jalil!

For something that’s more refreshing, there are no better options than llao llao and Oat Story. With llao llao’s fro-yo, you can mix the sweet yet tangy Spanish frozen yoghurt with various different toppings such as fresh fruits, Oreo cookie crumble, M&Ms, or even swirl your dessert with their special sauces. If you’re looking for something “healthier”, make your way down to The Food Merchant and drop by Oat Story for a uniquely delicious scoop of oat ice cream that is nutritious and guilt-free. How OATsome is that?
