Aeril Zafrel published a video of himself eating with his family and friends at the upscale restaurant in Turkey, ‘Nusr-Et’ last month. The iconic Turkish chef and butcher Nusret Gökçe, more commonly known as “Salt Bae,” is the restaurant’s major attraction. He is renowned for his extravagant food preparation methods and “salt seasoning choreography.”
The 32-year-old star gained attention last month when he revealed the meal’s bill, which totalled to more than RM10,000. Aeril claimed that his bill at Nusr-Et included “hidden costs,” including RM1,000 for the salt_ZAFREL seasoning and meat cutting by Salt Bae himself.

However, the “KL Vampires” star does not regret spending that much money. According to him, it was worth the money because it tasted good, plus it was cut and served by Salt Bae himself. He also said that moments shared at the time are considered very precious.
‘”We’ve not been able to travel overseas for two years, so we wanted to enjoy the vacation as much as we could. To be given the opportunity to have that moment is not easy, probably because Salt Bae is considered the top chef in the world. It’s also a loss if you don’t go experience it for yourself. That experience cannot be bought with money,” he told Utusan.
The actor doesn’t think the steak was expensive. “Actually the price is normal in the UK, but the lower value of our currency makes it expensive. For people in the UK, a £1,000 (RM5,291) steak is normal.”. It seems as though netizens definitely do agree that our Malaysian currency is low but when it comes to his statement claiming that a £1,000 steak is normal in the UK, netizens don’t seem to agree AT ALL:

All of the dialogues mentioned were said by him during the screening of his new film “Musyrik” last night. The new horror movie stars him alongside Ruhainies, Ashraf Muslim and Aishah Ilias. It is out now in Malaysian cinemas.
So, what about you guys? If you were given 10K right now, is steak at Nusr-Et cut personally by Salt Bae what you’d spend on?
