After all, the best people deserve only the best choices. This weeks picks include places for desserts, fine dining and even snacks from convenience stores! So without further ado, here are our picks for this week:
1. Afloat Coffee Roaster

Located in the heart of Bukit Jalil, a micro specialty coffee roaster. Through continual cooperation with local micro bakers and sustainable food suppliers, they aim to deliver top quality freshly roasted coffee and provide an amazing dining experience.
2. Soft Cloud
Time: 1pm – 10pm (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday) / 1pm – 11pm (Friday & Saturday)
Location: L1-03, VERVE SHOP, Jalan Kiara 5, Mont Kiara, 50480 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur
This cafe specialises in Japanese souffle pancakes; the cloud-like pastry is created with eggs and beaten egg whites for an ultra-fluffy texture, then stacked with fruits, cream, syrup, and other toppings in Instagram-worthy stacks. Unlike your money, these pancakes do in fact jiggle jiggle.

Located just next to Pavilion Bukit Jalil, CC by MEL offers Japanese fusion meals and desserts. This popular place is filled with greenery and delicious IG-worthy dishes. Not only pleasurable to the eyes, but for your pallet as well, you do not want to miss out on visiting this beautiful restaurant.
4. Shin’Labo by James Won
Time: 11am – 11pm
Location: G-13A & G-13B, Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport, Bukit Bintang City Centre, 55100 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Fusing the modernism of French techniques with fine Japanese produce and local Malaysian ingredients in a masterful way. Chef James Won’s limitless interpretations of superior Yshoku masterpieces provide “transcendental dining.”
5. Plant-based Dak Gang Jeong
Location: CU Mart Malaysia
This is the new plant-based Dak Gang Jeong from CU Mart. It’s the brand’s debut partnership with Phuture, and it’s available in two delectable flavours: Sichuan Spicy and Zesty Cream. It’s made entirely without meat, but it still tastes fantastic while staying on the healthier side of eating.
6. DABOBA Mochi Egg Waffles
Location: DABOBA Malaysia
DABOBA has launched a new egg waffle series and one of their must-try egg waffles is the ‘Sweet Potato Mochi With Cheese Cream’. The inside of the egg waffle is filled with sweet purple potato mochi paste paired with cheese cream & roasted brown sugar on top. That’s a triple-flavour bite!
7. World’s Loudest Silent Whisky Tasting by Monkey Shoulder
