Some people seem to have bad luck when it comes to certain things. For DJ Soda aka Hwang So-hee (황소희), her misfortune seems to be heavily tied to airports! Previously, the South Korean-DJ faced some trouble with American Air flight over inappropriate sweatpants.
The airline later apologised. However, it seems more trouble has come her way. This time, DJ Soda has beef with German airline, Condor Airlines. Apparently, they lost her luggage!
DJ Soda shared her dilemma on her socials. It showed a video of her sitting and waiting for her luggage at the luggage claim area. As it turns out, the video wasn’t just for show. The DJ claimed that the airlines had lost her luggage.
To make matters worse, the 36-year-old was supposed to be performing at a festival in Germany the next day. “I lost my USB, headphones, makeup (and) show outfit,” she announced. “Please help, if anyone knows where to purchase these items in the late night.”
She added that as the following day was a holiday, she had heard the shops would be closed. “I couldn’t even go to the festival today,” she groused. “(I) had a bunch of meetings that I was supposed to attend.” DJ Soda had to resort to asking help from her fans in Germany, hoping some kind souls would be willing to lend her the necessary items.
Fans and friends empathised with the beleaguered DJ. American actress Arden Cho shared that she too had undergone a similar situation a few days ago in New York. “I missed all my meetings too. I’m so sorry, I know this feeling. It’s terrible,” she said. Los Angeles DJ Yultron advised her to keep her USBs and computer in her carry on. “Hope they find it,” he added.
Others were annoyed with the airline on her behalf, with some claiming she had terrible luck with airlines. One comment pointed out that, “People need to (take) care of DJ Soda more.” Another advised her to inform them she has medication in her luggage. “Then they have to find it asap,” they said. A few fans also offered their belongings, hoping to be of some help.
Luckily, not all was lost. DJ Soda’s friends at the festival pulled through for her. She later publicly thanked three people on her Instagram story for lending her makeup, headphones and a USB. DJ Soda also posted another video of herself going wild at the event. Thankfully, all’s well that ends well!
