It is a blessing to be born into a kind and loving family. The children may grow up mentally healthy and unbashful about expressing their feelings toward their loved ones.
Singer and host Aril Pilus was moved to tears after receiving a loving handwritten letter from his 7-year-old son, Tun Adrien Mikael. The letter was addressed to both Aril and his wife of eight years, Puteri Erma Edlinda. He took to his Instagram post and TikTok video to share the proud moment.

The letter was written in Chinese and was assigned by his son’s cram school Mandarin teacher. The “Menatap Matamu” singer shared a video with screenshots of his WhatsApp conversation with his son’s Mandarin teacher. He sought the assistance of the Mandarin teacher because neither he nor his wife spoke Chinese.
According to the letter, his son wrote “To my lovely daddy and mommy, I love you. I will study hard and repay you with love.” The singer shared the video of the screenshots with a caption addressing his feelings of awe and gratitude.
“Assalam (peace be with you), I was touched when I was preparing for my son’s tuition. I texted his teacher regarding his homework, and realised the teacher had asked the students to write a letter. It is challenging when your son enrols in Mandarin school because neither of us can read Mandarin, so I took a picture of the paper and sent it to the teacher. She quickly responded with the translation. I was touched, guys (crying emojis),” the Instagram caption reads.

Fellow artists also complimented Tun Adrien Mikael in the comments section of Aril’s Instagram post. Tiara Jacquelina, actress and producer, wrote, “What a sweet kid.” “MasyaAllah, may he succeed both in this world and in the next!” singer Alif Satar wrote.

For your information, Aril Pilus is the first runner-up of the seventh season of “Akademi Fantasia” and the brother of actor Izwan Pilus. He married Puteri Erma Edlinda on 20th December 2013 and they welcomed Tun Adrien Mikael in 2015.
