Hype Eats: Treat Yourself To A Hearty Brunch & Killer View At THIRTY8’s Sunday Buffet

When talking about our beloved capital city, Kuala Lumpur, it’s hard to forget about our signature Twin Towers. Tourists flock to the building every second of the day and it’s definitely one of the more iconic spots in KL. But, more often than not, most of us don’t always have the time to really sit down and appreciate the famous tourist spot even as locals.

Every now and then, it’s always good to really sit back and enjoy the beautiful view our city has to offer. And just recently, we were lucky enough to enjoy an ambient Sunday brunch buffet alongside a stunning view of the city at THIRTY8 @ Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur.

A Hearty Brunch To End The Month

Taking place on the last Sunday of every month, THIRTY8’s Sunday Buffet is a monthly brunch concept that brings together amazing food with a spectacular view. And during the last weekend of April, we were happy to be invited to experience their brunch buffet for ourselves.

To start things off, the buffet comes with a large selection of food that’s sure to satisfy all your taste buds’ needs. From fresh baked pies and roasted mutton to a variety of dim sum for you to choose from, we were able to taste various cuisines with just one brunch.

But above all else, what really made the experience so unique was their table-serving trolleys that visited each table throughout the buffet. Being able to sit back and relax at our table while the trolleys served us burgers and specially mixed cocktails was definitely an experience you won’t find anywhere else.

Oversee The City Skyline As You Eat

When it comes to good food, it’s always best to pair it with a good view and good company to really have an amazing experience.

Located in the heart of KL, THIRTY8 sports an amazing view of the KLCC Twin Towers while you eat. Walking into the restaurant, we were immediately greeted by their larger than life windows and sophisticated layout.

Despite having been born and raised in KL, THIRTY8’s astonishing view of the Twin Towers aroused an appreciation for the city we had never really felt before. Paired with the calming, elevator-esque music that played throughout the Sunday buffet, it truly felt as if we were tourists enjoying the sights of our own home.

While the food is certainly great, the draw of the whole restaurant is definitely their chill ambience and breathtaking view of the city that encompasses the whole place regardless of where you sit. At night, you can really enjoy the beauty that is the KL city skyline while you wine and dine the night away. And in the mornings and afternoons, you can witness the Twin Towers in all its glory as you nibble on your food.

So, if you’re looking to enjoy a Sunday brunch experience like never before, be sure you visit THIRTY8’s Sunday buffet this month! For just RM248 nett per adult and RM124 nett per child, you can treat yourself with a stunning view and amazing food this May.
