If you’ve been scrolling through your socials, particularly during the fasting month, you might’ve come across several cooking content produced by these so-called “food influencers” online. This apparently didn’t sit well with some netizens.
In this case, many of them called these content creators out for apparently copying Khairulaming. For those who don’t know, the influencer is famous for his “30 Days, 30 Recipes” content during Ramadan. Others might also know him for his Sambal Nyet business. After a few days of silence, the 29-year-old took to his Twitter to address the comparison.

“Since many people tagged my name yesterday, all I can say is, please, please enliven the content industry in Malaysia again. We need more content creators to bring this to the forefront,” Khairulaming (full name Khairul Amin Kamarulzaman) wrote on his Twitter. In the meantime, he also appeared to compare our country to the neighbouring countries that often produces much more spectacular content.
Khairulaming added by writing, “I hope people will not bring this issue up after this, and we can enjoy and appreciate each other’s content. It’s not easy to make a video. It’s tiring. Let’s appreciate the effort of all the people who made these videos. This year, more and more people are developing creative content.”

“Even at TikTok, it’s merrier there. Keep up the momentum and develop a good network with each other. Our country has a lot of local talent, don’t block that talent, or you’ll be at a loss in the future,” the Kota Bharu-born internet celeb concluded his statement.

Wise words from the man himself! Do you agree with Khairul Aming on this case?
