We must always find and appreciate the beauty of imperfection which is why ASICS is announcing their next collaboration with AFEW, featuring their GEL-LYTE™ III after raising over €13,000 (RM60,733.67) for charity with the 1-of-1 AFEW x ASICS GEL-LYTE III “Beauty of Imperfection CP 1/1” sneaker.
The AFEW x ASICS GEL-LYTE™ III “Beauty of Imperfection” sneaker is inspired by the Wabi-Sabi philosophy (a concept that motions us to constantly search for the beauty in imperfection and accept the more natural cycle of life) and is meant to embody that beauty lies in imperfection.
Because the newly released product was inspired by the Wabi-Sabi philosophy, the ASICS Stripes of the shoes have a “Wear Away” upper that develops its own texture over time. Here are some details regarding the product:
