Hype Eats: Our Favourite Orders From Fuel Shack & Go Tarbush At Signatures Food Court, Suria KLCC

Ever since Suria KLCC opened the revamped Signatures Food Court on level 2, foodies visiting the mall have been spoiled for choices. With over 23 food court outlets, 6 kiosks and 7 restaurants, customers are simply spoiled for choice!

During our recent food excursion, we managed to chow down some awesome burgers from a longstanding fan favourite and a Middle Eastern eatery we haven’t tried before. It also helped that our dining experience was elevated with a premium view of the Kuala Lumpur skyline and iconic KLCC fountain.

Fuel Shack

Fuel Shack may be slightly on the pricier side, but you’re getting your money’s worth from this homegrown Malaysian brand. Since shoppers are always on-the-go at KLCC, the Fuel Shack outlet here is able to churn out food orders at a faster pace so hungry customers don’t have to wait long.

The best selling burgers are, of course, the Aussie beef and lamb patties. The Original Shack (RM24.20) and Lamb Supreme (RM27.50) come with 150g of juicy Aussie beef and lamb respectively. Accompanied with cheese, lettuce, pickles and tomato, biting into the burger felt satisfying. The greens that are sourced from Cameron Highlands also help bring out the freshness to the overall meal.

P/s: Fuel Shack also offers the Veggie Deluxe (RM22.20) that uses a plant based patty instead of the usual meat patties.

Go Tarbush

As someone who has never tried Go Tarbush, we were pleasantly surprised by the variety of dishes from this eatery. As a subsidiary of Tarbush Malaysia, Go Tarbush is relatively a young restaurant chain that is slowly but surely making its presence known to a wider Malaysian crowd.

Located just next to Fuel Shack KLCC near level 2’s escalator, Go Tarbush offers Shawarma (kebab), Mandi/ Biryani Meals (with chicken and lamb options), Fatayer (fresh hand pies), Falafel, in addition to other specialties and extras. For our main courses, we tried the Arabica Chicken (RM18), 1/4 Mandi Chicken (RM25) and Biryani Lamb (RM38). Each of these meat dishes were tender and flavourful – it was simply *chef’s kiss*.

We also enjoyed how the appetisers such as Hummus (RM15) and Salads (Tabbouleh, Fattoush, and Arabic – all priced at RM15 each) also compliment the other dishes well. If you’re eating with a group of friends or family, be sure to order a variety from the Shawarma and rice meals for a better dining experience. We didn’t expected this but we became a fan by the end of the meal.
