Nur Sajat Kamaruzzaman took to her Instagram to share with her followers a huge announcement, five months after making the big move down under – she’s now officially identified as a woman!
During an IG Live session, the cosmetics entrepreneur revealed that she has legally changed her gender status to female in Australia. Interestingly, the great news came just a day shy of her 37th birthday today (Wednesday, 23rd February).
“I’m so happy that everything is settled. I’ve (legally) changed my gender. I feel comfortable being a woman, I appreciate that this country understands my situation, and I feel very free now,” Sajat remarked during the broadcast. “I can finally be myself and I’m proud to be a woman. It feels like I’m being born again. This is what I want, I want people to accept me for who I am.”
The “Makhluk Penggoda” songstress was also asked by one of her followers on whether she would change her name, now that she has officially changed her gender. In response, she said she would continue using the name “Nur Sajat”.
